Try Him and See

Psalm 30:11

You have turned my mourning into dancing, you have turned my sorrow into joy
Lana Bible Edition

Four days ago I made a choice. Four days ago I decided to test the principle of "Give and it shall be given" (Luke 6:38) with more than my money. Four days ago I decided to apply Malachi 3:10-11 to more than tithes and offering. For days ago I decided to give God something I didn't have much left of, in hopes that He would give it back more abundantly and that He would rebuke the devil who seeks to devour it. You see I decided to give God what little bit of JOY I had left in the midst of life's storms and raging winds. The devil had done his best to use circumstances to steal my joy and my dance. He had me at the point that I would cry rather than dance in praise. It was gone. I couldn't find it. I was a praiser without a praise, a dancer without a dance. But my God (oh my don't those three words just change everything) changed that. Because four days ago I dedicated myself to giving whatever joy I could scrape up to Him and sure enough what did He do? He gave it back to me more abundantly. He rebuked the devourer. His promises are good, they are true. No matter what life is doing to me I still have my joy!! All I can do is praise HIM!!!

Psalm 150:6

LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD
King James Version

  1. Miss Lana,
I could "wax eloquent" as my amazing Big brother would say. However, I will be "good" and keep this Short & Sweet. What do you say? Friday night sounds like a good night for some serious praise, when we can praise together:)!!!!!
